A selection of tasty, easy and affordable dishes will be on offer in the community hall behind All Saints Church on Tuesday 27th October, cooked up by local foodie Shireen Ijoyah, who invites us to celebrate Peckham food culture as part of Black History and Diversity Month.
Shereen is joining forces with the Peckham weeklies community group in their regular Tuesday night venue, in order to offer people a chance to experience and talk about Peckham food culture now and how that might change as the area goes through the planned developments. Dishes will be offered for a minimal donation. We will also be celebrating the raw ingredients – from Africa, Asia, Persia and further afield – that are found in abundance on Rye Lane.
7pm til 9pm at All Saints Church Hall.
